We are genuinely gutted that Bake Off has come to an end once again. What are we supposed to do with our Wednesday evenings now? Let’s not even think about the fact that Mel, Sue and Mary will be waving goodbye once and for all. It’s just too much!
In a desperate attempt to soothe our GBBO woes, we’ve spent the afternoon looking at amazing wedding cakes. Take a look at some of our favourites – they are all based in the UK too so if any of them take your fancy, you can get in touch.
Based in London, Ceri Olofson creates cakes inspired by her background in design. If you don’t mind a cake that will potentially steal the limelight, Ceri will create a cake that looks like a piece of art.
Rachel designs and bakes her edible masterpieces from her studio in South London with the help of her urban chickens – they provide the eggs! It’s no surprise that her amazing creations are regularly featured in leading Bridal titles.
Georgia trained at the world famous culinary school Le Cordon Bleu and offers
something slightly alternative to the traditional wedding cake. Her designs include sweets, macarons, chocolate, petals, lollipops – anything goes.
BEN THE CAKE MAN
Traditional? Bold? Elegant? Personal? Completely wacky? Ben can accommodate. He’s baked cakes for both celebrity and royal clients and believes that great work speaks for itself. We totally agree after looking at his creations!
