Whether youre looking for a fabulous hotel wedding fit for a princess, or a rustic, intimate wedding full of sparkle, youre spoilt for choice in the glorious county of Kent. Covering the south east corner of England, Kent is home to some of the most majestic landmarks in the UK - from Dover Castle to Canterbury Cathedral. Alongside these iconic places, there are also tonnes of bustling towns, rolling hills and miles of breathtaking coastline. If youre overwhelmed by choice in the oldest county in England, never fear as weve come up with some of the most beautiful and versatile venues in Kent.

Preston Court, Canterbury

Preston Court has not one, but three different venues in which to tie the knot.  Theres the rustic Kentish Barn, a simple but beautiful timber framed building which is versatile enough to suit any theme, and can seat up to 120 people for ceremonies and receptions.  If you want to be at one with nature whilst saying I do, consider Julianas Island. This fairytale space is an island in the front lake of Preston Court. A perfect place for intimate ceremonies, set in the stunning backdrop of an ancient yew tree. If youd prefer a religious ceremony, Preston Court has that too. The quaint St Mildreds Church sits less than 100 meters from the Kentish Barn - and Church of England weddings are available including to those who are not members of the parish.

The Gardens Yalding, Maidstone

The Gardens Yalding is a perfect venue no matter the season. For the summer months theres the beautiful gazebo in the heart of the stunning gardens, or if youre looking for a winter wedding venue try the beautiful barn.  Wedding packages at The Gardens include your own personal wedding coordinator and first class catering. Food and wine tasting appointments are available to make sure your menu is perfect!

Fort Amherst, Medway

If youd like a venue steeped in history then look no further than the glorious Fort Amherst Constructed in 1756 to defend the River Medway against French invasion, take a look around the atmospheric tunnels and take in the unique Grand Magazine room. Set amongst breathtaking parkland with stunning 360 views, this would be an event your guests would never forget. Just 40 minutes from London and 45 minutes from the Channel Tunnel, the team can cater for your ceremony, reception, or both!

Broome Park Hotel, Canterbury

Get married in style at the stunning Broome Park Hotel and Golf Club - an amazing 17th century mansion house that looks over glorious manicured gardens.  Broome Park even has a specially designed marquee perfect for spring or summer weddings, able to seat 150 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 200 for an evening reception. The staff at Broome Park can cater perfectly to your tastes, with a whole host of delicious menus and bespoke wedding packages on offer. This wonderful location, right by the lake comes complete with a Trevi style fountain - you can almost imagine youre in Rome!
