Here at Alta Costura we understand that finding the right dress for you may take some time! We do not limit the number of dresses that you can try on, or the length of your appointment. We are always happy to offer as much assistance as we can, without obligation.

If you plan to visit us on a Saturday, we recommend that you make an appointment to see us. However, if you do just want to pop in, please feel free to browse through our gowns, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Weekdays tend to be quieter than Saturdays, which can get very busy!

We have monthly payment plans on the majority of our gowns that can help you spread the cost. Please feel free to talk to one of our members of staff about the options that are available.

Once you have purchased your gown, any alterations can be made nearer the time. Please note that this service is not included in the cost of the dress. Some customers prefer to make their own arrangements to have their dress altered, and this is absolutely fine.
Our excellent in-house seamstress has years of experience altering wedding gowns, and making dresses fit like a dream.

The aim of our store is to offer affordable, high-quality gowns. Many of our customers have commented that purchasing from our store is an attractive alternative to buying from expensive designer stores, or perhaps online - and the associated risk of not receiving the dress that you had hoped for. In addition, our 'Gowns-to-go' sale range offers further reductions on our already low-price ranges, starting from as little as £125.00. We are usually able to help, even if you are on a tight budget.

We also offer our brides the opportunity of low-cost, fully insured storage until their big day. We understand that customers may want to buy their gown several years in advance, whilst some need a dress within a few weeks. We have even provided dresses to brides with just days to go before their wedding! Whatever your situation, we are happy to help.
